As CEO and Co-Founder of Salboy, Simon has spearheaded the company’s evolution from a niche property equity lender into a leading UK property developer and funder. With over 20 years’ experience in finance and real estate, Simon has personally overseen more than £500 million in lending to developers. Under his leadership, Salboy has delivered over 4,000 homes across more than 70 UK sites, with a forward pipeline exceeding £1 billion.

A self-made entrepreneur, Fred launched his first betting shop in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 1967 alongside his brother Peter. Fred is an active player in the real estate and hospitality industries, with significant holdings in commercial and residential development. Fred Done is also known for his philanthropic efforts. He has contributed millions to community causes, healthcare initiatives, and education programmes, particularly those that aim to level the playing field for underprivileged young people.

Joanne Ismail is a seasoned executive with vast experience in operations and legal matters within the real estate sector. Joanne started her career over 30 years ago as a legal secretary for Manchester law firms specialising in real estate and conveyancing, eventually training and overseeing a team of conveyancers. She has held senior and credit committee posts at multiple short-term bridging lenders and development funders, having made the move to Salboy during its infancy over 10 years ago.

Andrew oversees Salboy’s financial strategy, capital structuring, reporting, and compliance. He plays a key role in managing equity partnerships, revolving developer lending, and delivering financial oversight across Salboy’s expanding nationwide property footprint. Andrew has held his FCCA qualification for 10 years and has a wealth of experience in PBSA, residential property, commercial property, and real estate financing. He has been the financial driving force in over £2 billion of property transactions within the UK real estate market.
