In a breath-taking Art Deco building at the top of King Street, Lucky Cat fuses the atmosphere of 1930s Tokyo kissas and drinking dens to serve top of the range Asian-inspired dishes, whilst capturing the essence of Ramsay’s original Mayfair eatery.

3. Muse over The British Art Show 9
The British Art Show is recognised as the most ambitious exhibitions of contemporary art in the UK. This June visit the touring exhibit is located in venues across Manchester including HOME; Manchester Art Gallery; Castlefield Gallery; The Whitworth and the Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art (CFCCA).
British Art Show 9 explores this precarious moment in Britain’s history that has brought politics, narratives of identity and questions of agency to the centre of public consciousness. The artists presented in the exhibition respond in critical ways to this complex context; imagining more hopeful futures and exploring new modes of resistance. Their projects often blur the boundaries between art and life, and imagine alternative futures.

5. Place your bets for this years FA Cup final
For the first time in the history of English football, a Manchester Derby will take place for this year’s FA Cup final. This will be Manchester United’s first FA Cup final since their loss to Chelsea back in 2018 and Manchester City’s first since 2019 when they went on to win it against Watford. If you didn’t manage to get hold of tickets for Wembley, don’t fret, the city will be electric and there will be plenty of spots in the city screening the game.
