For decades James Bond has been celebrated as one of the most iconic film franchises of all time. This September the very best of Bond is coming to Manchester- but not as you know it. This month Fever’s best-selling Candlelight Concert series will feature a live cast of West End singers and an incredible live band performing the very best of the James Bond soundtrack. The classical concert taking place in the stunning Manchester Cathedral, by candlelight, will allow fans to immerse themselves in this truly special concert experience.
2. Have a laugh at The Comedy Store’s Escape takeover at Freight Island
This month join The Comedy Store for loads of laughs alongside great food and drink from the venue’s many exciting traders at Freight Island. The‘’Best In Stand Up’ show will feature comics including the likes of Mick Ferry, Justin Moorhouse, Danny McLoughlin and Bethany Black.
3. Walk on the wild side with a trip to Chester Zoo
Chester Zoo, just beyond the city is home to 20,000 extraordinary animals and 128 Acres of zoological gardens. Great for people of all ages a day out at Chester Zoo is great for learning about and seeing a number of incredible creatures, both big and small whilst also supporting the incredible conservation work of the charity. For the first time ever, this September the Zoo will open its doors after hours for a collection of exciting ‘Into the Night’ evenings.
4. Get up and running at the Platt Fields Junior Park Run
Every Sunday morning children between 4 and 14 years old are invited to take part in a pre-planned 2 kilometre park run. Parents are encouraged to cheer from the sidelines for the fantastic finale!
