Hot off the Press

We are ready to open the doors to our latest project The Press in Manchester city centre – and it is very special.

The distinctive red brick building, built for the Co-operative Printing Society, is part of the city’s rich heritage and the homes we have created celebrate its past with period features creating a unique character.

Exposed brick walls, original window openings with new sash windows, wooden floors and original beams sit alongside sophisticated kitchens and hotel standard bathrooms.

The original entrance to this lovely Grade II listed building has been retained with steps up to grand wooden doors decorated with stained glass and set in the original distinctive green tiled walls.

The building offers just 66 apartments with either one or two bedrooms, each one different, each one offering a New York loft-style feel in the heart of the city centre.

The apartments sit either side of a wide central ‘street’ flooded with natural daylight from the glass roof above and the perfect spot to sit and work, grab a coffee or just hang out.

We have also converted buildings next door to create 2 & 3 bedroom townhouses with internal courtyard gardens.

The Press is perfectly positioned to make the most of city life, located right by the open green space of Angel Meadow, close to train and tram links at Victoria and Shudehill and on the doorstep of the bars and restaurants of the Northern Quarter.

Our construction partner Domis has been working safely over the last months to complete these unique homes to meticulous standard and we can’t wait to show them off

From the weekend of June 20th and 21st we will be offering private viewings of the building via appointments available on a first-come-first-served basis.

We expect there to be huge interest and want to give buyers lots of time to look round The Press and fully appreciate the love and care that has gone into converting this wonderful heritage building to provide contemporary character homes

To keep everyone safe new social distancing and safety regimes will be in place –

    • One way system around the building
    • A limited number of appointments
    • 2 metres distancing from others
    • Overshoes and masks provided

Prices at The Press start from £255,357 for a lovely one-bedroom apartment and from £270,086 for two bedrooms.

The townhouses are priced at £375,000
